MSCBUConnect is a platform to connect faculty members to interact and share their knowledge. As part of MSCBUConnect sessions, a month-long sensitization programme on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, beginning on 18 June 2026. Conceived as a collaborative academic initiative, the programme aims to familiarize faculty members with the various policy frameworks, guidelines, and reform measures introduced under NEP 2020 and their implications for higher education institutions.

Over the course of the programme, faculty members from different departments will deliver thematic presentations and lead discussions on a wide spectrum of NEP-related topics issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Ministry of Education, and other national bodies. The sessions are designed to encourage informed deliberations on policy implementation, institutional preparedness, and best practices in teaching, research, governance, and student development.

The deliberations will cover several key themes, including academic integrity and research quality, good academic research practices, curriculum and credit frameworks, multiple entry and exit, evaluation reforms, research internships, apprenticeship and internship-embedded degree programmes, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), multidisciplinary education, R&D Cells, university-industry linkages, Institutional Development Plans (IDPs), Quality Mandate for Higher Education Institutions, NEP SAARTHI, Student Induction Programme (Deeksharambh), STRIDE, Professor of Practice, CARE, Atal Incubation Centres, environment education, campus sustainability (SATAT), cyber hygiene, life skills (Jeeban Kausal), human values and professional ethics (Mulya Pravah), global citizenship, promotion of physical fitness and student well-being, equity and inclusion of socio-economically disadvantaged groups (SEDGs), support for Divyangjan and students with specific learning disabilities, women’s safety and grievance redressal mechanisms, artists/artisans-in-residence, Indian heritage and culture, and several other strategic initiatives envisaged under NEP 2020.

Through this sustained series of interactive sessions, MSCB University seeks to develop a shared understanding among its faculty of the transformative vision of NEP 2020 and to foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, inclusivity, research integrity, and institutional quality. The initiative reflects the University’s commitment to aligning its academic ecosystem with national priorities and preparing for the effective implementation of policy reforms across teaching, learning, research, governance, and community engagement.

MSCBUConnect serves as an important platform for knowledge sharing, dialogue, and capacity building, reaffirming the University’s resolve to contribute meaningfully to the realization of the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020.
