Program Overview

M.Sc. Chemistry

M.Sc. Chemistry is a two-year four semester post graduate programme. The core course of the program includes organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and spectroscopy. The program also covers polymer as well as environmental chemistry including electives. To gain interdisciplinary knowledge, open elective is also included. Each semester has practical paper with emphasis on project work in semester III and IV. To be eligible for admission into M.Sc. Chemistry programme, the candidate must qualify CPET conducted by Higher Education Department, Govt. of Odisha with B.Sc. in Chemistry as honors subject or chemistry as elective subject with minimum 24 credit.
