PERSONAL INFORMATION

I have obtained my M.Sc. degree in Physics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2002. In the same year, I also qualified the CSIR, NET-JRF. In addition, I was awarded Ph.D. degree in 2008 for the thesis titled “Transport Properties of Some Niobium and Vanadium Chalcogenide Compounds: GaxNbSe2, Cu(Zn)V2S4 and Ga(Cu)V4S8” from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Besides this, I have twenty years of teaching and research experience since the date of my joining and worked at TIFR Mumbai for one month as visiting scientist. I have also published 25 number of research articles in international and national journals, 16 number of proceedings in different seminars/conferences/Symposiums and 01 book namely solid state Physics. I have guided 04 Ph.D. scholars and 20 M.Phil. Students and completed 03 research projects: one from UGC, New Delhi, one from UGC-DAECSR, Mumbai and one from SERB, New Delhi. Currently, one more collaborative research project is going on from UGC-DAECSR, Mumbai. I also successfully discharged various administrative activities like Head of the Physics department, Secretary Sports Council, Asst. Director DDCE, Officer in-charge of cultural activity and presently performing as coordinator of Social Work department, coordinator of AISHE and Nodal officer of PM-USHA at MSCB University.
