PERSONAL INFORMATION
Dr. Dhananjay Nayak is an emerging academic and researcher in Political Science, with expertise in postgraduate teaching, research, and field-based work. He served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo (MSCB) University, Baripada, Odisha, and gaining seven (7) months of teaching experience exclusively at the postgraduate level. During his tenure, he actively contributed to academic mentoring, curriculum delivery, and classroom engagement, and authored ten (10) Self-Learning Materials (SLMs) for postgraduate students.
Dr. Nayak earned his Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Political Science from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, and his M.A. in Political Science from Ravenshaw University. He has qualified the UGC-NET examination twice, demonstrating strong academic competence. He has published five (5) papers in reputed national and international journals, including Scopus-indexed, UGC CARE-listed, and peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include Indian Government and Politics, Political Theory, Research Methodology, Climate Change, Food Security, Tribal Livelihoods, and Disaster Management. He has received the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship and the OURIP Fellowship, presented over 16 papers at national and international conferences, and served as a Field Investigator for an ICSSR-funded Major Research Project, New Delhi.
