PERSONAL INFORMATION

I am Anupama Panigrahi. I am currently working as a Guest Faculty (SFC) in the P.G. Department of Political Science at MSCB University, Baripada.

I completed my graduation from Rama Devi Women’s University. It was during my undergraduate years that I developed a deep interest in political ideas, governance, and society. To pursue this interest further, I went on to complete my post-graduation from Utkal University. My time at Utkal University gave me strong academic training and exposed me to a wide range of perspectives in political science.

Academically, I have also qualified the UGC-NET examination three times. Qualifying NET multiple times has strengthened my subject knowledge and my confidence in teaching and research. It reflects my commitment to staying updated with the field and to maintaining academic standards in higher education.

Along with my academic qualifications, I also have teaching experience. I have worked for one year at R.D.S. Degree Mahavidyalaya, Kundabai. That experience helped me understand classroom dynamics, student needs, and how to explain complex political concepts in a simple and engaging way. Teaching at the degree level gave me the opportunity to interact with students from diverse backgrounds and to guide them in building a foundation in political science.

Today, as a Guest Faculty in the P.G. Department, my goal is to contribute meaningfully to students’ learning. I believe political science is not just about textbooks. It is about understanding power, rights, justice, and how societies function. I try to bring both theoretical clarity and real-world examples into my classes so that students can connect what they learn to the world around them.

I am grateful for the opportunity to teach at MSCB University and I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and support my students in their academic journey.
