MSCB University provides residential facilities to the students in the hostels. All the hostels are supervised by the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent and coordinated by the Warden. Besides this each hostel has a care taker along with other staffs to look after the residential life of borders. A Residence Committee is in place to determine issues pertaining to general policy and administration and is constituted of Warden, Chairperson, P.G. Council and the hostel Superintendents. The University is committed to provide a comfortable, safe, inclusive and secure living for students.

Currently, MSCBU has six hostels, 02 designated for gents and 04 for ladies. The hostels are spacious having well-furnished rooms with separate mess facility for each hostel which provides hygienic food at an affordable price. Hostels are provided with 24×7 security facilities, other recreational facilities and Wi-Fi facility. For clean and safe drinking water, electronic water purifier facilities are provided in each and every hostel. An open Gymnasium is also provided between ladies hostel-I and ladies hostel-II.

The selection of students for the seat allotment is done by the respective department based on merit-cum-distance following the reservation policy as per the number of seats allocated to the department. The hostel application form by the applicant shall be forwarded by the head/coordinator of the concerned department. Thereafter, the Warden shall allot the applicant a specific hostel. After paying the requisite hostel fee the applicant shall be allotted a hostel seat by the Superintendent concerned. The boarder shall occupy the room assigned to him/her and in no case shall change it without the prior approval of the concerned Superintendent.
