Sujata Mohakud is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University (MSCB University). She is a dynamic and detail-oriented researcher and academic with over five years of combined experience in research, teaching, and academic project execution. Having qualified UGC NET 2024, 2025(for PhD.), KSET 2023( for Asst. Prof.) she holds an MPhil in Economics and is currently pursuing a PhD at KIIT Deemed to be University. Her academic contributions include three books, two book chapters, and five research articles published in reputable journals. She has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences and seminars. Her research interests primarily focus on applied economics, policy evaluation, and social and economic impact assessment. She has been actively involved in interdisciplinary research projects in areas such as public health, gender studies, microfinance, and development interventions, including work under ICSSR-funded studies. As an experienced educator, she has taught postgraduate students (Regular Department and CDOE) in Economics and MBA programmes, as well as undergraduate students in Economics and Commerce and supervised postgraduate dissertations. She has actively coordinated and conducted certificate course programmes. Her academic work reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based research, impact analysis, and policy-relevant economic studies.
