The Computer Centre is located on the ground floor of Academic Block–I. Established in 2002, the Computer Centre of Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University serves as the University’s central hub for computing and digital services. It has been developed to support the academic, research, and administrative needs of students, faculty members, researchers, and staff by providing high-speed Internet access and advanced computing resources.

The Centre manages the University’s campus-wide network infrastructure, providing 1 Gbps Internet connectivity and 500 Mbps Wi-Fi connectivity through an optical fibre backbone that extends across the entire University campus. This robust digital infrastructure ensures seamless access to online learning resources, research databases, digital libraries, and other academic services.

At present, the centre is equipped with 40 desktop computers, offering students and faculty members access to computing resources for academic activities, research, project work, online examinations, and various digital learning initiatives. The Centre plays a vital role in promoting technology-enabled teaching, learning, and research while supporting the University’s commitment to a modern and digitally connected academic environment.
