PERSONAL INFORMATION

Prakash Chandra Adi is an Assistant Professor of Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., MSCB University, Baripada, Mayurbhanj where he teaches the Integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. programme and the M.A. in Education. He brings a distinctive multidisciplinary foundation to teacher education, having trained originally in English before specializing in pedagogy: he holds an M.A. in English (F.M. University, Balasore), a B.A. (Hons.) in English, and subsequently an Integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. from F.M. University respectively. His research interests center on artificial intelligence in education, constructivist and hybrid pedagogy, teacher attitudes toward digital technology, and early childhood care and education, reflecting an effort to bridge emerging technologies with classroom practice. He has authored or co-authored four peer-reviewed research articles He has presented his work at national seminars on constructivist hybrid pedagogy, education for peace and non-violence, and early childhood care under the National Education Policy 2020. Since joining MSCB University, he has supervised ten postgraduate dissertations across the Integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. and M.A. in Education programmes, covering themes such as inclusive classroom practices, activity-based learning, foundational literacy, and student attitudes toward artificial intelligence. He has also participated in numerous workshops on educational research methodology, inclusive open and distance learning, and digital and financial literacy. Fluent in Odia, Hindi, Bengali and English, combines scientific training with a developing research profile in education, positioning him as an emerging scholar at the intersection of technology, pedagogy, and teacher development.
